Yoga Nidra has been called “Blissful Relaxation for the inner self”

“Most people sleep without resolving their tensions. This is termed Nidra.

Nidra means sleep, no matter what or why.

But yoga nidra means sleep after throwing off the burdens,

It is a blissful higher quality altogether…

Relaxation does not mean sleep.

Relaxation means to be blissfully happy.

It has no end”

– Swami Satyananda Saraswati

A true Renaissance Woman - in her life and in her practice. Mary is a yoga teacher, paddle-board instructor, certified lifeguard and a devoted meditator. After her first yoga teacher training with Green Lotus (200 hours), she traveled to India to study traditional Hatha yoga (250 hours). This is where she deepened her study of the philosophy & relaxation techniques (pranayama & yoga nidra).

Mary has effectively used meditation and yoga to manage stress, chronic pain and ultimately to become a happier person. Through her teaching she hopes to share her knowledge and inspire students to take their practice off the mat and into their lifestyles. She wants her students to invite tension to melt away and leave them feel empowered to optimally manage their own well-being so that they can feel better in their bodies and minds; allowing them to walk through the day feeling brighter, shining from the inside out.

With such a wide range of expertise, you can be sure her practice is rich, diverse and deep. Your well-being is in the best of hands.
